Epic apologies for the delay on this challenge. I've been totally snowed in by work this weekend. I'm back, somewhat, to the daily grind. Festive holidays and Spain were a good break, but 2013 has returned full force on the work front. But, we press on!!! The first challenge of the year was so epic, and I must say we were certainly off to a good start with a massive showcase of some of the most impressive collections. Which got me thinking about good 'ole basics, so I did that crazy capsule collection thingy. Yanking out all the black in my closet, I realised that I don't wear basics enough. It's always print-on-print or print-on-bright-colours. So much so that I had all buy one photo of me in all-black BM. Turns out, getting decked out in all-black was harder then I thought. And the next challenge was born.

Aren't these girls just ADORABLE!!! So... for a fact, getting decked out in black is certainly harder than one thinks! Fortunately, I managed to get a pretty black dress from the Maison Martin Margiela X H&M collection affectionately named the Horizontally Worn Dress. It's too long so I had to hitch it up!
(Wearing: Maison Martin Margiela X H&M Horizontally Worn dress, Black Milk Revenge of the Burnt Velvet legs, Calvin Klein booties)
And the second outfit.... a really old new skirt that I bought some two years ago, but have yet to wear.
(Wearing: H&M headband, Black Milk Hooded bodysuit, Bysi sheer pleated skirt, Yves Saint Laurent cage sandals)

Thanks to all the Sharkies that participated. So maybe I played cheat a little and let a spot of white here and there, and a little Sophia James to make an appearence. But, the Sharkies put in so much effort I couldn't say 'no'. Meanwhile, it's Sunday night. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent mine at the Singapore Museum and it was such a riot!!!
Have a great week ahead everyone.
XOXO,
J
Everyone is so gorgeous! I can't wait to join in some day soon <3
